Title: Estate Buckshot Loads?
Post by: Ben on April 03, 2011, 02:12:36 PM
Anyone use Estate? Thoughts for use as bulk practice ammo? I just saw it at Cabela's and it seems like a good deal.

Are they cheaper than the federal loads sold at Walmart?

I have shot a lot of Estate shotgun shells.  They are actually very good.  I grab them long before I ever pick up a box of Federal.

I think I might give them a go. No Walmart around here, but the Estate shells at Cabela's are $155 for 250.

I bought 250 rounds of Estate buckshot for Y2K.  It took me awhile, but I ran it all through my Remington 870.  It patterned well and never gave me any problems.

I've probably burned through 10k rounds of Estate bird shot. Can't say the quality ever hampered my trap skills.

A buddy of mine who's a high ranked youth trap shooter in this state uses Estate for practice ammo. I'd buy their buck without hesitation.
