Title: So the "free market" is a thing now?

What occurred on July 8 is a perfect example of the free market in action. A Christian bridal shop politely declined to sell a wedding dress to a same-sex couple because doing so would violate their deeply held religious beliefs. The same-sex couple left without incident, took their business elsewhere, and aired their grievance on social media.

Who knew that was an option?

It's so new that it won't be introduced in business schools until second semester, in 2019. They're still working up the course syllabus.

Funny how that all works.  Now others can even choose whether to use the shop or not.

I don't recall if this line was in the original article I linked to, which has been updated.

What should be a free market is becoming one in which you cannot participate if you have religious beliefs that run contrary to current societal norms.

I hope they're wrong, and that this business continues to operate according to their perfectly reasonable, traditional beliefs. I hope the SCOTUS rules in favor of the persecuted baker. Sadly, though, a lot of people have already decided it's OK for Christians to be forced out of certain jobs. The "if you're open to the public, you're open to the public" canard.

I feel compelled to ask if what the LBGTQXYZ promoters call "societal norms" are actually "norms" anywhere outside of San Francisco, Hollyweird, New York City, and a bunch of over-priced institutions of higher learning indoctrination. This seems like another example of the Media (all hail) telling us what we think without bothering to ask us.

In the Daily Wire's case, I think "societal norms," means the "norm" that not being super-excited about teh gay means the internet can (and should) treat you as a non-person that should be harassed into submission.

I can think she meant "Make them sue for peace." in the last line.

DOJ also agrees the free market is a thing:

Kamala Harris gets caught in some hypocrisy.
