One of the challenges for the Trump campaign will be to push two messages at the same time, to different audiences. On the one hand, Biden-Harris will pursue policies that are good for the very wealthy and influential, but not so good for most Americans. On the other hand, it's also true that the Democratic party will use any power or position they have to push for far-left, radical policies.

More on Biden's 401K plans. If you have a 401K and Biden gets in, expect to kiss your pretax income deductions goodbye. Those were very significant to me in my TSP when I was working. Seems like this would greatly reduce the incentive for people to save for retirement.

I think Trump supporters don't want to attract crazy to their houses so they're staying incognito.
On the Harris signs I've seen houses with all manner of other lefty candidate signs that do not have a Harris sign. So there might well be lefties that won't vote for the D POTUS candidate.

It is amusing (for lack of a better word) that Trump is accused of lying. Biden's lies and willingness to say or do anything to win dwarfs Trump's exaggerations tenfold. They've even rolled out the old Democrat standby that "Trump and the Rs are going to end medicare and medicaid." He's bragging up Obamacare and what a great deal that is and how Trump is trying to end Obamacare in the middle of a pandemic. Biden is using his dead wife and daughter and his son in a political ad. That is actually disgusting.

I have a friend that went from debate geek intellectual conservative Christian Republican, to NeverTrump, to Democrat, to cheering on the Portland riots. He posted on Facebook yesterday that he is suspending his involvement with his local (rural Missouri) Democratic Party, as the leadership is solidly Blue Dog, and not "in lockstep with the national party." And they are supposedly "opposed to recruitment efforts."
Man, I hope that's true all over the place. =)

I think it's a terrible idea that Senators can mistreat a judicial candidate and then silence him once he's on the Court. Should Kavanaugh recuse himself every time anything related to Kamala Harris comes up in the Supreme Court? This would give Senators an incentive to abuse — not that they need more incentive — every nominee put up by a President who isn't a member of their party.

There have been two releases of information regarding Hunter Biden and both implicate his father.
First is the Hunter laptop that has emails purportedly showing how the influence peddling worked. It also has photos and a video that are not helpful to the Biden image. There are rumors there is evidence of his hiring prostitutes and maybe some underage porn on the laptop also.
The second drop is the release of emails from one of his former business partners who "took the fall" for one of their deals. This one shows potential coordination between China, Hunter and his buddy setting up a White House meeting.
Supposedly they are going to release everything in dribs and drabs.
I think it will have to be over the top illegality to have any impact.

It’s really a pointless release, we all know the Biden’s and especially the son are shitheads in the usual political way but that isn’t going to sway anyone that matters. Nothing will result criminally in any way that matters. Like the Clintons or any other high level corrupt family they are immune from any real consequences.

The one I just received was something along the lines of how Trump only cares about the rich while Biden is for the working person. Apparently stop texting me hasn't stopped these texts and I went off this time. Just send 6 texts with the first being *expletive deleted*ck Off, the rest were variations of that. That's what I think.

I'm not so sure. Both Biden and Trump are campaigning in MN, WI, MI, and IA. All traditionally blue states. That means they think those are the close ones that they need. If TX, FL, and PA were close, they would be there instead.

Interesting couple -- he's an aging hippie whose father was a Unitarian minister and whose mother was Jewish, but he turned out to be an agnostic. His wife is a Turkish woman whom he met while she was studying for either a Master's or a PhD at MIT. They are both ardent Democrats, and don't appear to be cognizant that my political views are diametrically opposed to theirs. Even so, what she wrote on the Christmas card was a shock:
