Yulia Tymoshenko. I hope none of the country's generals are named Tarkin!

Long, braided hair like that is historically pretty common, if not in fact traditional, across eastern Europe.  Of course, if the height of your own cultural awareness is Star Wars, you'd probably say she looks like Princess Leia rather than that Princess Leia looks like her.  Now either explain what this has to do with politics or go back to worrying about kids peeing in gutters.

Damn, she gets my vote as hottest head of state.

Uh..Joe?

I think you might want to see a proctologist about that stick.

There something wrong with countries electing attractive prime ministers? Especially if they bear a gently amusing similarity to pop culture icons in both the hair and in facial features that resemble a young Carrie Fisher?

Humor. TRY IT.

If somebody quoted an American as saying s/he voted for a particular politician because of physical attractiveness, you'd be here ranting and foaming at the mouth over it as one more sign of the apocalyptic downfall of civilization.  Don't bother denying that after your kids peeing thread.

The title of your thread:

Your OP:

Until Balog mentioned it there was nothing in this thread about her attractiveness (she is hot!) from anybody.  Not you, anyway.  So far as I can see, you had no point other than making a lame Star Wars joke (is there any other kind?).  Certainly, it had nothing to do with politics.

Worry about the stick up my ass when you've removed the beam from your own.

Five posts in and insults are already being exchanged.

Not High Road at all.

As this thread does not have a developed political theme to discuss, other than the beauty of Ukraine's new prime minister (which I won't deny), the exchanges we've seen so far get this thread locked.

Edit: mtnbkr beat me to it as I was replying.
