Also, I think his folks picked up some of Romney's 'Change' signs.

I think McCain and Obama are expected to win everything tonight... prepare for incoming dirt on B.O. before the Texas primary, though.

Pretty much expected... The folks are unabashedly saying that they're going for the further left vote, along with the racist vote...

I mean, if someone says "Hey, I'm voting for my candidate because he's white," _someone_ would get crucified...

I happened to flip past his speech just now and he was talking about how America was founded by a group of people who stood up to the British Empire and said "yes we can," conveniently ignoring the fact that those people were heavily armed when they stood up and said that. . . rolleyes

I just listened for about 5 minutes and his speech template seems to be "XXX is a problem. I have hope that we can fix it" without any specifics as to how he's going to do that.

He's an excellent speaker and most people are superficial/ignorant about a lot of things, which makes them like "ideas" that can be said in a sound bite (ie: "Potomac Primaries rolleyes

). People hear "change" and "hope" from a guy who speaks well, and this makes the fact that he's pretty much an empty suit all but irrelevant.

First guy in years who hasn't been droning on and on about social security. This gets the youth vote. Has a good voice for speechmaking. Doesn't look crazy. Is the media darling. Years of Republican hate of the Clintons has crossed party boundaries - so you've got Dems that don't like her, either. He's pure as the driven snow, for now.

My hope is Obama gets more delegates then Hillary, but not enough to win the nomination.

Hillary will then do anything to get the super delgates on her side. maybe to the point of annoying the party base so they are less interested in supporting her in the general election.

Sort of. The fort is a good distance from the river itself. I don't think you could even see the river from the park when the area was clearcut for farming.

Basically, they're guiding the percentage who wants to vote for a winner in his direction. Which is rather slimy. And somewhat borders on election manipulation.
