Wrong forum. Move to The Round Table.

No thanks for me. KFCs around here are rather crappy and nasty.

I also look at why should I eat at KFC when Chick Fil A is next door and always has great food, and great waffle fries. Speaking of which, have ya'll tried the Chick Fil As Minis during their breakfast serving? Crack in a box, I tell ya. Like a small yeast roll with a big chicken nugget, come 3 or 4 to a pack.

Now, when I absolutly have to eat at KFC, I stick with the Extra Crispy strips or chicken. No thanks for the Honey BBQ or anything else...Biscuits and mashed potatoes are decent, too, I guess.

I wish.   sad   Love 'em, but the closest one is over ten miles away, in a direction I never have any other reason to go.  Not sayin' I couldn't drive over there, but it ain't exactly next door.   sad

Ten miles in city traffic?  In the middle of a gigantic mall?  Yeah, I'm sure I can just bop on over there for lunch every other day.   smiley

I feel for you, fistful...

Well, not really laugh

But we are lucky enough to have two Chick Fil As in our town. One is a standalone drive through store, and the other is in an uncrowded, nearly empty mall. As I understand it, Chick Fil A is moving to standalone stores (in the traditional fast food style)- apparently, they only used to be found in malls.

Chick Fil A, is, however, closed on Sundays.

I'd always thought having your entire dinner smashed into a sad pile on a single plate was the sort of thing one ought to expect from a remote military field kitchen or during disaster relief, (or in jail) not something you'd pay for.

Actually, reflecting on it, it sounds a lot like the nutraloaf they serve unruly inmates.

My wife loves the Famous Bowl.  I like them too, but I don't think they're worth $4 each.  I can eat three of them, and for $12 I can sit down and be served at a restaurant with higher quality food.

Imagine working there.  It's hard changing a gas valve on a fryer or charging up a reach in when that scrumptious food of the gods is being cooked 2 feet from you.  I try hard not to stare.

KFC, back in the 1970s, used to have KILLER fish filet sandwiches. They were even better than the chicken.
