Mozilla auto-completes forms for me: how can I make it stop?

Recently, I made a mistake of saving some form data in Mozilla. Now it over-writes everything with my info and my attempts to turn that off have been unsuccessful. Does anyone know what the trick is? I read all the help files and can't figure out why my actions don't have the intended results. Thanks!

I believe it is:

Tools
Options
Privacy
Saved Form Information
-hit the plus sign,
Uncheck Save Information
Hit Clear
Click OK

You might have to clear the cache.

Right-click in the box and select clear search history.
