"Dear Tooth Fairy:  Why do you collect teeth?"

Hmmm... I'm stumped.  It's a pretty sick hobby IMHO.

I take these to  make the big people teeth you will have soon.
TF.

---

I got stumped once by a answer I gave :

Dear ,
I use these to make the teeth that little babies get later on

TF.

The kid -" that is so gross giving a baby someone else's teeth - oh double gross that means my permanent teeth belonged to some else ....gross".

Use the first letter - trust me on this.  Smiley

From ask the dentist at http://www.the-toothfairy.com/

43. Question: What does the tooth fairy do with your teeth? (Eric age 6)

Answer: The tooth fairy uses the teeth she collects to help build her castle. The building process has been going on for at least 150 years. Most recently, she has added a wing to the castle for her boyfriend, the sandman.
Gillian, Agent for the tooth fairy.

That's a little wierd.

If he answers your letter, post the return address.  I am in constant pain from my tooth and headed for my fourth root canal in two years.  If I catch that SOB I am going to shoot him.

Other questions that are raised are: What, exactly, does she do with all those teeth? Possibilities are:

    * Building materials.
    * Jewelry.
    * Mineral extraction.
    * Sinister medical experiments, possibly in collusion with the CIA.
    * Sold on to third parties. Possibly the chinese traditional medicine market (investigations should be done into the aphrodisiac/healing properties of ground child-tooth).

Also, assuming that you do indeed stay awake all night, and actually do see the Tooth Fairy herself, it becomes necessary to address these issues:

    * Could it have been a dream or an hallucination brought on by lack of sleep, and the expectation of seeing such an entity?
    * Is there third-party evidence to support the visitation theory?
    * Did you install video recording apparatus?
    * Do you have a history of mental illness?
    * Are you taking strong medicinal/recreational drugs?
    * Is there physical evidence remaining, such as fairy dust, ectoplasm, or fragments of wing scale?
    * Have you ruled the possibility of fraud/hoaxing by third parties?
Conclusion: There are a bunch of people with FAAAAAAAR too much time on their hands.

That's how it is, lie once and then have to lie again to cover that lie, and lie again to cover that one, etc., etc., etc.

I really do not get the lying about Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, etc.
What if the hokey pokey is really what it's all about?

She's a smart one.  Today she decided she was happy with a buck $...never mind what he does with them.  Little lies (fantasies) are good.  I couldn't get through life without them.  Tongue
