Sharpton said he disagrees with those who say she isn't qualified to be U.S. senator.

Oh come on now people. She's qualified because her last name is "Kennedy".

Not quite the Messiah now, but certainly one of the apostles.

Her aspiration is symptomatic of what's wrong with today's America.

A sober electorate would reject her presumptions and tell her to earn her way.

How about they just go pick some joe schmoe off the street.  Couldn't do any worse than his predecessors.  Hell for all I care it could be a jane schmoe.
I'm from Texas, what country are you from?

The more corruption the more the masses will want people "too rich to cheat."

But it makes sense given that we are re-feudalizing America and the world.  Divine right of kings is no problem.

Based on some current and past federally elected politicians, the only qualification needed is a pulse. Looking through recent history, I would conclude that Caroline is over-qualified, relative to some of her presumptive peers.

I don't think there is such a thing.  Someone with the character to lie and cheat will do so no matter their situation.

Excuse me for a second, this is not directed at anyone at APS, but America as a whole:

Thank you for your indulgence.
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

Not surprised.....well, surprised they didn't nominate Chelsea Clinton for the seat....
Impressed yet befogged, they grasped at his vivid leading phrases, seeing only their surface meaning, and missing the deeper current of his thought.

Well, maybe Caroline K., in the interest of openness, will divulge some information about those Fiji-baesd trusts where I hear the Kennedys hide their lucre.

This country was founded on the idea of rejecting kings and nobles.  Some of us remember that.
