Maxpedition Rat Wallet or M1 pack?

I'm looking for a small belt case for my Treo 600.  I've narrowed it down to the Maxpedition Rat Wallet and M1 pack.  Both are about the same size, but the Rat is horizontal while the M1 is vertical.  Does anyone have any experience with them?  Which form factor works better?  I'm leaning towards the Rat, but I want some additional opinions.  How useful is the space in each?
