The ticker crawl at the bottom has some good ones.
"One man band loses drummer in car accident"
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

The Onion is what Stewart and Colbert would aspire to, if only that had some talent.

If Stewart didn't rely so much on obscenities and vulgarities, he might be forced to do better material. He has the potential.

The sad part is that there is more fundamental truth in the message of programs like The Onion and Stewart than in the spin of "real" news networks.
"Knowledge will forever govern ignorance, and a people who mean to be their own governors, must arm themselves with the power knowledge gives. A popular government without popular information or the means of acquiring it, is but a prologue to a farce or a tragedy or perhaps both"

A nice window into The Matrix.
"Domari nolo."

Thug: What you lookin' at old man?
Walt Kowalski: Ever notice how you come across somebody once in a while you shouldn't have messed with? That's me.

Good chuckle.
The response from Newt's rep was entertaining.  And what kind of puppet overlords do we have?  Hand puppets or marionettes?
