EPA Prevents Peer Review Process of Fraking Study.

Yep, why confuse the issue with facts.

http://hotair.com/archives/2013/06/23/epa-decides-peer-review-of-fracking-study-not-such-a-good-idea/

EPA finds traces of the chemicals used to drill the test wells along with "organic chemicals"  (meaning traces of natural gas) from the natural gas in the ground.

Oh, the Horror.

Please do read:

Here's the Money Quote:

Quote
Encana Corp., which owns more than 100 wells near Pavillion, says it didn’t “put the natural gas at the bottom of the EPA’s deep monitoring wells. Nature did.”

I have a strong suspicion that Obama's EPA will eventually outlaw fracking.  It's just a matter of time in my opinion.
If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

My wife often says to me, "You are evil and must be destroyed." She may be right.

Liberals believe one should never let reason, logic and facts get in the way of a good emotional argument.

Well, can't have us become a net exporter of petroleum, that would upset all the soon to be screaming beards in OPEC.

Of course. It makes too much sense, and too much prosperity.

There is nothing new or bad about fracking.
Its just all the new crap they started to pump down there and claim is proprietary and don't have to tell anyone.

Interesting point about how migration of gases and fluids can be so dependent upon the local geology.

Basic lack of science BS. OK, we found methane, ethane, and propane in some water wells. Now how exactly do those gases "contaminate" water? People do not get water table 500 ft deep, fracked well 3,000 feet deep and cased far through the water table.

Do they have a "before" sample to compare to?  I'm going to guess "No".    ;/

Actually, if you read some of the papers published by Dr. Jackson's team at Duke in regards to the methodology, they are using some pretty solid techniques to confirm the sources of contamination from fracking as opposed to natural causes.  And the papers were peer reviewed and washed in the tears of a unicorn, too.

Everybody hates the fracking oil companies.  ;)
