Prices have been going up all over with the rise in crude.

Up to the $2.50s and $2.60s at most stations near me.

Prices have started to drop here in Northern Virginia.

The Citgo near my house went as high as $2.55, now it's back down to $2.41.

The price of oil has backed off some, as have gasoline futures, but WTI is still over $60 a barrel right now.

We had seen prices fall to the $2.24 area last week, only to see them climb back up to $2.39 or more overnight.  Now they are dropping again, down a few cents to $2.35.

Gas finally crept back down to $2.27.  It went back up to the $2.39 - $2.49 range last week, depending which station you were passing.  Then again creeping back down just a few cents, as low as $2.37.  Back up to $2.49 yesterday at my "go to" station, and then it shot up to $2.64 today.  I read the sign wrong.  It's still $2.37 at my go to station.  However, across the street at the other two stations it's $2.44 and $2.45.  At the Love's down by the DC it's $2.49

It's really starting to jump around here. Closing in on $2.60 average price.

I signed up for the Gas Buddy card.  Linked to my debit card account.  Gives me an automatic $.05 off every gallon.  Sadly, I can't use my other discount cards (like at Pilot) with it.  :'( :'(

Price jumped from $3.15 to $3.26 in the past week at Arco out here. Chevron's up to $3.65-3.89 in the 'burbs.

Sort of plateaued out here in Northern Virginia in the $2.55-$2.59 range.

The Citgo near my house was up to $2.65 last week but dropped back to $2.59.

It's been steadily creeping up around here.   I paid $2.72 the other day.  There are many stations that are at $2.99. mostly because they are afraid to break that $3.00 psychological barrier.

Meanwhile, Russia and OPEC agree to continue production cuts (which is killing Russia's economy as Oil exports are down and that's a big part of Russia's economy).

Slow creep here, too. I paid $2.65 a gallon this morning. It's at $2.99 at the one expensive station near me.

It hit $2.65 around here yesterday.  Love's was at $2.74 briefly last week, then went back down to $2.64.

$3.60ish in CA most of the way up to Nevada today. $2.90 in Northern NV. All for 87, brand name. I'm on my way to Idaho tomorrow, so we'll see what it is up there.

Holy crap. $3.15 in Southeastern Idaho.  I couldn't believe it so did some news searches. Idaho is apparently the 10th highest state right now and the highest in the Rocky Mountain region. Prices went up nearly 50 cents in the last month.

I saw a couple stations at $3.04 and $3.05 yesterday.   Oil continues to creep up.  Time to buy more Diamond Offshore and Trans-Ocean.

Man, I think I'm selling half of my BP today and taking profits. Three year high and I bought it for $28.60 during that mini-crash in FEB of '16. I'd consider selling it all, but it has that juicy 5% dividend. I'll buy some back if oil takes a big drop again, otherwise just hold it and see if the other half hits that high of 2007 again.

$2.95 at my go-to station, both this morning and this afternoon.

Friday (May 11), it was $2.84 when I went by at around 8:00 a.m. Went by at around 3:00 p.m. and it was $2.95, so the price jumped 11 cents in 7 hours. That's the biggest fluctuation I've seen (in either direction) for as long as I can remember.
