June 21 -- My usual "go to" station was $2.979 for regular unleaded. The two no-name stations near the VA hospital were both $2.999.My [former] second choice station was $3.129. That's a Gulf station, operated by a quick stop type franchise. Curiously, I also went past another of that same franchise's stations about 20 miles north, and that one was at $2.999. I have no idea why two stations run by the same company and selling the same brand of gas would be so far apart on price.

Prices had been creeping up again around here, slowly, to where they were a few months ago -- in the $2.70s for most stations to in the $3s for the unreasonable ones.

Well, that may change somewhat suddenly.

The increasing trade war has WTI crude and gasoline futures down by over 5 percent each today, and more than a few of the analysts I'm reading think that's going to continue for a while as prospects of the trade war harming production become clearer.

$2.60 -ish around here now .

Been driving a Ford  CNG Fucos  at work. What a piece of crap set up.
Only has a 200 mile range and the nearest CNG station is almost 10 miles out of my usual route in town.
The car is gutless on the highway.
OK for in the city I suppose. Plus side is it only costs around $8 to fill it.

$2.90 in Northern Nevada. $3.10 in the Boise area. Down around $0.15 from what I paid in those areas last month

July 11 -- My "go to" station was at $2.929. My (former) #2 station was at $3.129. I passed several other stations that were in between those two (as well as some that were higher than $3.129

Everything around here is $2.96 to $3.05 with $2.99 being the sweet spot.

July 26: My "go to" station was 2.859 for unleaded regular. Two other stations were at $2.899.

My [now former} #2 was at $3.099 (down from $3.129 a couple of days before).

We're hovering around $2.53 at the stations we frequent the most.  Love's at the US321 where I turn off for work bumped up five cents to $2.66.  They are pretty volatile for some reason, going up and down out of sync with the rest of the stations in the area.

Prices around here have been kind of weird lately.

Some stations are going down while other stations are going up. They seem to be on different sine curves. It's odd.

In the last week we've been in Dallas, Tyler and quite a few small towns between, all the stations I can recall were pricing the cheap stuff between $2.40 & $2.49.

Bumped up about 12 cents in the area today, averaging $2.65 at our usual stations.  Wish I had filled up the truck yesterday.

I've know folks to drive an additional 15-20 minutes to save $0.10 per gallon, in a car with a max tank size of 15 gal.  It's just not worth it to me - a $1.50 or less savings ain't worth that much.  Even saving $2.50 for the truck isn't worth the time & aggravation.

Yesterday the Mobil and BP were at $2.81 and $2.83 respectively.

Today the Mobil is unchanged and the BP is at $3.15.

I just drove through IL, IN, OH, WV and VA. $2.76 was the price in IL. Shockingly, IN was higher (growing up it was ALWAYS cheaper than IL, taxes must have gone up.) OH was cheaper at 2.71. WV was more expensive.

VA was $2.41.

Depends on where in Illinois.  The Northeast corner is part that jacks you with county and city taxes in addition to the usual Federal, State and Sales taxes.

Gas had been going down for awhile... It had dropped back into the $2.50s...

Now it's going up again.

Sigh.

Been hovering between $2.73-$2.77 for a while here.  Since It's the off season and I'm not traveling much, I fill-up about once a month.

It's been hovering around $2.51 here for about three weeks.  That usually indicates the current decline in prices is over.  I expect it will climb 10-12 cents any day now.

My "go to" station was $2.89 yesterday, and another station across town was $2.89 today. Most others are around $3.05. I'm actually pleasantly surprised that it has gone well above $3.00 everywhere by now.

This morning, it was $2.99/gallon unleaded at the Marysville Costco 40 miles north of Seattle. The price has gone up five cents per gallon since last week.
