$1.98 in several places in NH.  Surprises me, since gas is usually high priced up here.

Filled up Saturday about an hour from home for 1.76. Closer to home was low 1.80s. Been fairly steady around the house

WTI crude dropped below $40 a barrel for a time today, and closed just above $40.

Gasoline and heating oil futures (very important to me, because Mom heats with fuel oil) dropped quite a bit today.

And, gasoline and heating oil futures have gained quite a bit more today than what they lost yesterday.

Now WTI futures are down 68 cents on the day, below $40/bbl at $39.38.  Anybody's guess if it holds.

Saw Oil was at $39 and change today.   Also an article the other day talked about how the technology of fracking is evolving and pushing the cost of fracking down.   Thus American oil reserves are massive and obtainable for less money.  http://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/...-a-standstill/

I'm sure once president Hillary gets her hand in it fracking will be a thing of the past.

$1.94 today.   That is about the lowest I have seen it in Florida for many years.

going to go even  lower, since fracking and shale oil have kicked the Saudi's butts

$2.05 at the Hugo Chavez Mart near my house.

$2.07 around the corner at the Shell.

$2.59 at that station I've talked about before, the one near where I shop, and the only gas station on that stretch for a couple of miles. I laugh every time I pass it.

That kind of crap may have cut it in the old days, but now days it's...

(driver running low on gas)

Siri, I need gas, and there's a VERY expensive Exxon right here. Tell me where there's a station close that's NOT run by wallet robbing arseholes...

Murphy's was $1.87, Valero & Exxon were $1.92 for the cheap stuff.  Didn't notice the price of diesel.

Paid $1.859 in Mtnbkr's town last night.

Finally saw it below $2.00 nearer my place. If things keep going, it should drop below $2 at the Hugo Chavez-o-mart near my house in a few days.
