Negan = Ghenghis Khan + Kublai Khan + Pol Pot + Stalin + Hitler + Mussolini.

I hope Negan dies.....very.....very......painfully. >:D

What an intense episode!

So the rumors regarding Abraham and Glenn were correct.

Negan is quite skilled at breaking people psychologically.   Moreover, he's a sadist of the first order, even more so than comic-book Negan.

If portrayed accurately, Rick is going to have some major PTSD issues to work through.

ETA: the guy snapping Polaroids of Abraham's and Glenn's corpses was an interesting touch.

Killing Glen may well have killed Walking Dead for me.

I'm hearing a lot of that. Personally I thought it was brilliant and they needed to go outside the box this season to stay alive.

Is the show going to survive after this season? We used to Rick and crew being in charge, now they aren't.

Things seem like they're gonna get a lot bigger.  I would assume so.

Carl showed more hate in his eyes...sorry, eye, than Rick at the end.
Predictions

1) Carl kills Negan, not Rick.

2) Rick is broken as a person, at least for the season

3) Daryl doesn't die.  We'll lose another major character or two, but they're not stupid enough to kill of Daryl in the same season as Glen.

HOLY *expletive deleted*it I JUST GOT THAT!

When they cleaned out the nest of Negans gunmen...one of them had a glory wall of Polaroid pictures.  It just occurred to me those were all people Negan had smashed.

Exactly.

I wonder how Carol is going to save the day this season.

I think Carol is pretty broken at this point, perhaps more so than Rick.  She would rather die than kill any more.

It seems obvious that The Kingdom will play a major role in the fight against the Saviors.

THIS.

And I would have bet money that Glen would make to the end...
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

Dumbass Daryl is responsible for Glens death, that will be eating at him for a while.  I was prepared for Glen getting killed, but the brutality of it was still shocking.

What kept me in suspense was the focus on Ricks axe.  I knew that in the graphic novels, Rick gets his hand chopped off.  The episode promos seemed to play on that, and throughout the episode, I was waiting  for it to happen.  Then they threw the curve ball of Carl being threatened, then not happening at all.  Props to the writers for that little roller coaster ride.

I'm looking forward to seeing the wrath of Maggie unleashed.  Using Lucille to smash Negan joint by joint seems appropriate.
