The APS cult classic film thread
« on: November 01, 2016, 05:57:16 PM »
At the suggestion of HeroHog, here is the APS cult classic film thread.  Tell us your favorite film which never qualified for an Oscar nomination,  is pretty bad but has good parts, or is just so bad it's awesome.   Two favorites of mine:

Lone Wolf McQuade.  Chuck Norris as Bad-ass Texas  Ranger vs. gun runner David Carradine.  Climax is a much anticipated martial arts battle between the two.  Key bad points...a dwarf bad guy, the death of Chuck's pet wolf, and some really bad acting.

Wanted Dead or Alive.  Rutger Hauer as ex-special agent turned bounty hunter vs. Gene Simmons as the Arabic terrorist.  Highlight...a cutdown 12 gauge hidden in a modified c child seat, and fun with grenades.
No, I'm not mtnbkr.  ;)

The Mariachi Trilogy

Poor to middlin' acting, hot women, good music and guns, lots of guns. ;)

I've never actually watched it.

I will nominate Mean Guns, just because it is little-known, and not all that good, but I watch it from time to time.

Out of Sight and Payback are in a slightly different category, since they are pretty good flicks, but rarely talked about.

Oh, I didn't catch that it had to be a bad movie. Nevermind Napoleon Dynamite then.

Great movie. I don't recommend the directors cut. There are some extra scenes that don't fit with the overall movie.

There's a director's cut of The Love God?
