I just got a robocall urging me to call my Senators to tell them not to allow a "partisan" change in the rules that would disallow a filibuster, although they did not use that word. They merely suggested that it would prevent "Trump's nominee" from being confirmed.
Yes, I'm registered as a Democrat --I find that quite handy sometimes, despite the fact that a number of years ago I disaffiliated myself from most of their philosophy. I've mentioned this before.
It seems like they are pulling out all the stops in their attempts to "blockade" the red States.
As if that weren't obvious by now.
The call could have been to all voters, but judging from the other robocalls I've been getting since before the election, I doubt it.
