cdnnsports.com has smoking deals on complete AR and Complete Uppers with lower parts kits (just add receiver, and those can be had for dirt cheap also.)

Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

I guess now is the time to go for my usual pattern of buying high and selling low.

I have a few rifles that have matching uppers and lowers that are the same manufacturer, but were bought separately.  I have no idea how low I would have to go to sell them right now.  RRA, Yankee Hill, and LMT are not bad brands, but it is hard to compete with $499.

Problem is, I have an AR and don't feel the need for another. I guess I could get a pistol AR and put a brace on it, but past that I don't see the need for another.

I have an upper lower and BCG...easy enough to build from there.  Barrel is the only "expensive" part left for a build.

Same boat here in terms of not needing another one.  I enjoy building and tweaking them, but one working model is enough.

That said, a fixed stock model in a big bore cartridge could be fun.  However, I don't want to add another caliber to my list.

Don't need another AR but sure do wish we could get XM193 back down to $5-ish a box.

I know about Prvi ammo but have never personally used any. Decent stuff?

Brad
I haven't used it a lot, but what I have used was reliable.  I still have some of their 7.5X55.  It works, but not near as accurate as the Swiss surplus.

I like their 75gr match ammo in 223.  My 1:7 twist AR loves it.  But it's about $10/box.

I like it for range use.  Never tried precision with it.  If it meets M193 spec, it must be good enough.

Yes.

Today's CMP e-mail.  Final call on Greek HXP M2 Ball .30-06.  $144 for 180 rounds.   And the bottom continues to fall out of the AR market.  CDNN had two different .22LR ARs - an HK for $349 and a Colt for $299.
