Things To Do Near Gulfport/Biloxi

My unit is sending me to Gulfport for some high speed logistics training next month. The downside is that I'm only there for a week and not authorized a rental car. Any must-see things nearby that would be worth a taxi/Uber to see?

Go check out the Armed Forces Retirement Home? If my wife goes across the Rainbow Bridge before me and I am able that is where I will spend my final days. :)  :old:

Other than that I don't know anything about the area. ;)

Also the USS Alabama is pretty cool.
