Waiting for Trump to just give the entire establishment both middle fingers and say, "This has all been one big joke to me to prove that it could be done.  I hereby resign effective, <blank>.  Oh by they way, Warren (Buffet) Vlad Putin you owe me a dollar."

Couldn't happen as Pence would become President and have a VP so it wouldn't matter if they got the House back.

Would he have a VP? Who would that be? How would that person be chosen?

Ah ... the 25th Amendment:

Quote
Amendment 25 - Presidential Disability and Succession

<<Back | Table of Contents | Next>>

1. In case of the removal of the President from office or of his death or resignation, the Vice President shall become President.

2. Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress.

...

I lived through it, but I don't remember -- when Nixon resigned and Gerald Ford became President, who did he name as VP?

10-4.

VERY forgettable. The only thing I remember about Nelson was that he apparently died happy -- although the manner of his passing probably didn't make Happy happy.

I actually didn't remember who Ford chose myself, being a little kid at the time, so had to look it up before I posted. Reading up on him, it seems he may have been the beta version of the modern RINO.

Spiro Agnew, IIRC.

Spiro Agnew, IIRC.

Agnew was elected VP to Nixon, but "circumstances" made him unavailable to assume the presidency.

Why should I read a thread before I enjoy randomly tossing out names from history in some random haphazard manner, full of piss  & vinegar, signifying nothing???  =D =D  ;/ [popcorn] [tinfoil] [tinfoil]

As opposed to an organized, haphazard manner?

And you mixed your metaphor. It's supposed to be "full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."

Miracle Whip salad dressing (fake mayonnaise), or the Wishbone kind? (bottled French, Italian, Caesar, etc)

Down in Indy this weekend and caught some Fox News.  On Watters World he mentioned that Robert Mueller Special Counsel is an investigation in search of scandal.

And I'm still waiting for someone, anyone to tell me:

1.  What law(s) was/were broken ??
2.  What evidence/proof/indication(s) is/are there of a crime having been committed ?

And I'm asking about "The Russian Did It !!!!"  allegations, the Comey Firing, and/or Classified Intel to the Russians.

And I know several people that served with LTG McMaster both in Germany and during DS/DS.  You really don't want to piss him off.  He's a lot like GEN Mattis.   The DC Press really doesn't want to piss him off...
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.

Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

Part of the noise may be a distraction ... The DNC would rather that the 2 lawsuits they face at this time didn't see the news,

1. DNC is currently in court for running a rigged primary.

2.  The DNC is being sued for paying less than minimum wage.

Not to mention that the Russian narrative was started to cover for the prior administrations surveillance of the Trump campaign.  Kind of hard to keep up the ruse that Russia hacked the DNC now that it's come out that the number of DNC emails shared by WikiLeaks is the same as the exact number that Seth Rich had on his computer ...
