A morning well spent (and a $400 task chair for $15)

Small town auctions can be a lot of fun. Cold rainy and windy. A bank merger and branch closing auction had a lot of interesting things but I was after a Hon brand teller's high task chair for my work bench. I got one almost too nice for what I wanted, goes from desk chair height to tall counter height with 360 foot ring, fully adjustable etc.
Spent the morning sipping coffee standing out of the rain and chatting with a car dealer, 2 realtors, a CPA, some bankers, farmers, school administrator, scrap metal scroungers and other assorted types.
I bid on other interesting and useful things but only came home with the stool.
Good way to spend a wet cold Saturday morning when I didn't have anything more important to do.
What we have here is failure to communicate.
