Mix?  Like in a bottle?  You sure can't mean a powder.

Using a margarita mix is a much greater sin than using Jiffy cornbread mix.

Here is your margarita mix:

Quote
2 ounces 100% agave silver/blanco tequila, divided
1 tablespoon kosher salt
4 limes, divided
1/2 small Hamlin or Valencia orange
2 tablespoons light agave nectar
3/4 cup ice cubes, about 3 to 4

Thanks for the recipe.  May be something to help with my Friday evening.  Though I may need to multiply that recipe by 10 and share the pitcher with SWMBO.

When both your wife and you come in dehydrated and sore from a long day of pulling weeds out in the backyard, using this mix with some Jose Cuervo and Triple Sec makes a fast and good margarita.  We are not going to fuss with Alton Brown's recipe at that point.

Yes. It's very good. The best pre-made mix I've ever had.

Some of those recipes are a lot of work. While in far away lands we did basic mix.

1. Fill blender with ice.

2. Dump in 1 small can of frozen lime juice.

3. Fill empty lime juice container with 7up and pour into blender.

4. Fill empty lime juice container with Tequila of choice and pour into blender.

5. Hit "smash ice" button on blender and listen to glorious whirring as all ingredients become one.

6. Drink copious amounts of blended juice.

7. Make questionable statements to AF Security Forces and other authority figures.

8. Stumble to bed at sometime.

9. Wake up, puke, go back to bed.

10. Wake up again, shower, stumble to van and go preflight, which includes lots of O2 mask testing.

11. Go get some greasy Yakisoba from flight line greasy wok.

12. Blast off into the sky and make those godless commies in their underwater boats quake with fear.

13. Land, postflight, eat greasy food.

14. Start the blender up again, repeat the previous night.

:)

You may choose to leave out some of these steps.

The Kirkland silver tequila is really good.  Not sure why they use such massive bottles.

Because it's Costco.   They can't sell it in less than 5 gallon drums.

They are 1.75 liter, just like everybody else.  But theirs are half-inch thick glass.  They kinda look like glass tombstones.

That's because it's tequila.

That don't want you busting it when you drop it in your drunken stupor.
