...Or is anyone else getting these red screen warnings when clicking on topics:

It hasn't hit me here yet, but I get the red warning screen when I access another forum (where I'm a moderator). That forum has been around since 2004, I know the owner/admin personally, and I know there's no phishing going on. The issue is a Google product called Safe Browsing -- which apparently is used by Firefox as well as Chrome. Google is going all nanny state on us.

As an IT professional expressed it on the other site, the result is going to be a lot LESS Internet security, because people are going to tire of the false alarms and just turn off Safe Browsing. (Which is not easy to do, but it can be done.)

Yep

I had to do this. Safe Browsing and CAC card Military websites aren't comparable.

Something actually popped up on my phone, but appears to have gone straight to the background.  I only saw it because I saw a "2" in the browser window bar when I was on another site. When I went to look, there was a blank page titled "privacy notice".

I haven't seen anything on the main machine (Firefox) except for a couple of peoples' avatars disappeared.

It has quit "warning" me and I've made no changes on my end. I DID send in a report that there was no reason I get warnings about this site.

I just checked in with the other forum where I've been getting the warning, and this time I didn't get it. Maybe they have responded to the numerous members of that site who sent in "Are you kidding me?" reports.

I am kinda immune to the warnings. I used government IT as an end user for twenty years. Only thing worse than their box and crappy IE is trying to access a government site with your own updated computer. Really my biggest fear with the whole computerize VA records and integrate with  the military. I mean holy expensive barely working boondoggle Batman.

Haven't had problems with APS, but today, Drudge started burping - got the following message:

In which case I generally take the same approach with them as I do Forbes.  I don't go there no more.

I run adblock, noscript, and auto-play disable add-ons.  I allow the "acceptable ads".  I don't care that you can't get as much money from them, the general ad companies have been vectors for malware way too often for my tastes.
