Got an Imgur account now. Had to relink a bunch of pictures from another web forum. Actually wish I had been using this one the whole time now. Seems user friendly and has some features I like that photobucket seemed to not have, like easily reorganizing your pictures.

To me, the cranking on mine is pretty effortless, at least on the coarse setting. Maybe if someone has arthritis or something, it would be more difficult for them." - Ben

What happens if you try to post targets or guns or any other hairy-assed subjects?

From what I've read, as long as you set your pictures to private your good to go.

They got me!

I just noticed my avatar disappeared.  Oh, well, time to move it to a different host.

I synch my photos to MS OneDrive be cause I already pay for a gaming acoount with them so the photos storage is included.  I don't know if I can hotlink to it.  Time to go try.

Your avatar has been gone for a few days.

I need a big, red light and a warning bell to get my attention.  Why is that not installed at APS?

It would be like this and only serve as a distraction:

Maybe we should arrange for a stick shaker on your keyboard. Do Airbuses have "stick" shakers on those dinky little joysticks?

Along with the giant fireball at the end...
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

Why the hostility toward photobucket? The gravy train had to end some time. I don't see how they have done anything wrong here. Somewhere, there is a board meeting that's going something like this:

"Well, we lost 395485 millionty users, and the entire Internet hates us"

"And?"

"we are actually making money..."

Well, if you'd actually been reading the thread, you'd have seen that there's a great amount of angst with the way this WASN'T announced. The TOS were changed, but to find out about this particular change you needed to drill down multiple levels into their user agreements.

Then there's also the fact that PB has apparently made it exceedingly difficult to get your photos off their site if you no longer want to host them there.

Then there's also the fact that apparently little to none of this was discussed with PB's staff before hand, and the people responsible for responding to the users, even the paying users, didn't know what to say when the complaints started rolling in.

If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

My wife often says to me, "You are evil and must be destroyed." She may be right.

Liberals believe one should never let reason, logic and facts get in the way of a good emotional argument.
