Not Enough Diversity in "Dunkirk"

While I'll be watching it on DVD,  I can't wait to see it.

The latest problem with the movie is that there are not enough people of color or women in it. As one of the commenters sarcastically noted, "Why do all Pearl Harbor movies depict that attackers as Japanese?"

I think for once we should also depict Hitler as a black woman who murdered millions of Jews. Only the Jews should be Muslims.

I'm interested in it for the historical aspect and because it was actually shot on film and intended to be projected with 70mm film.

The real question, though, is just how clueless about history, about the biggest world event of the 20th century are you when you find it "jarring" that Wesley Snipes doesn't show up to save the day or that Sandra Bullock is not driving a tank that will explode if it goes under 50 miles per hour?

They do have a point.  If I remember correctly, somewhere between 1/4-1/3 of the total evacuated where French Troops. And two French Divisions (along with the British 51st Highland) formed most of the rearguard.
