LOL! Brand new machine, 1st time on this site ever, Submit my last post and... I get the Blank Screen of Nothing! (BSoN) The Green Bar of Nothing (GBoN) is still a thing as well.

Me too, found it actually had posted anyhow.  Found it's better to preview, select all, then unselect all (or make some minor change), then "Post."

Going back into my forum settings and see if I've still got "return to topic." selected to see if that's the problem.

I think hitting the back button twice showed me my post. Or some combination of that and reload or something.  This was after a "Modify" operation, though.  I'll have to play with it.  IE 11.  Maybe it was the eye of newt or the wing of bat I keep handy.

I had the problem where I'd try to open the page and all it would do would be return a white screen.

I finally tried typing in the entire name -- http://www.blah, and that worked.

My links were only bringing up the short name, no http or www prefixes.

Given that the site has been hacked on one or more occasion has any attempt been made to do a clean wipe of the SMF files, just retaining the database, in order to get rid of malignantly modified files? Or are there malignant entries in the database too? (It's been a long time since I've played around with an SMF install) I seem to recall someone upgrading or doing something else with the files in the past year or two.
