For many years, not a single major hurricane hit America.  Suddenly they start tearing down Confederate Monuments, and...............................  well.

Where's K?

Jose is forecast to dissipate shortly and I see another possible storm forming in the Easter Atlantic, but we'd need two to get to Lee.

"Political correctness is communist propaganda writ small... the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, nor to inform, but to humiliate; the less it corresponded to reality the better...To assent to obvious lies is to co-operate with evil, and in some small way to become evil oneself. One's standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control."

Hurricane Katia dissipated over Mexico a couple days ago.

New Orleans tore down the statue at Lee Circle and is talking about renaming it.  They might be a bigger target.

Larry the Cable Guy. People say Cajuns are dumb. I disagree. Anyone who builds a city below sea level and fills it with Democrats is a genius!

That is nothing.  I hadn't realized Houston was 50 feet below sea level.  At least that is what our Most Honorable Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee said.  I was wondering why all that water was flooding us like it did.  And a chunk of Houston is upriver from me on the Brazos.   Huh?

Hurricane preparedness

Wouldn't this mean someone would have to sacrifice Al Gore and distribute his blood to AGW believers?   Huh?

"The ears of our generation have been made so delicate by the senseless multitude of flatterers that, as soon as we perceive that anything of ours is not approved of, we cry out that we are being bitterly assailed; and when we can repel the truth by no other pretense, we escape by attributing bitterness, impatience, intemperance, to our adversaries."

Sheila Jackson is an idiot who thinks she's the Second Coming of Barbara Jordan.  rolleyes  (I really hate using those names in the same sentence)  I believe downtown Houston is actually about 50 feet above sea level.
