So is the random disappearance of avatars. These days,for example, I see avatars in this thread for Ben, 230RN, P12 and HeroHog ... but RevDisk, Mike Irwin and Dogmush are avatar-less. And my avatar doesn't show up.

Mine lives on my server and isn't hosted by some service and that is probably the difference.

I am very disappointed that some of you are so eager to blame the victim for these cyber-attacks. I mean, really? "What software was she running?" These kinds of questions are not acceptable. Sad!

The server was using slutty software and was asking for it.

Holy crap, Herohog!

I've been looking for that for YEARS!

I first saw it back around 2005. I e-mailed it to some coworkers and it really touched a nerve because we were rolling out a new website for our division and it was about as frustrating as anything ever could have been!

Saved that one to my desktop! It's my precious!

I tried uploading it to Faceplace.

It told me that I couldn't because it wasn't 120 pixels tall.

So, I had to put it into an online .gif editor. When I did that and saved it as a slightly larger format, it ceased to function.

So, I had to run it through the editor again, enlarge it, and save it as an MP4.

Then I could upload it to Faceplace.

I already solved the problem.

And the resolution on that one got... weird. It looks like it's printed on high-quality laid texture paper, the kind you'd put wedding invitations on.

Browsing therein, I snorted snot at a lot of them. Dickwheel was especially damaging. I love it when I don't get stuff right away and have to look at it awhile before it "clicks."
