I wish this was true.  But I think Hillary still runs the Democratic Party even after loosing to Trump.

From what I understand, this kind of arrangement is common with the party.  What is not common is that the candidate was essentially running the whole DNC.  That kind of shocks me.... Bernie hasn't said much, but I think he knew this for a long time but is playing the game.

I wonder how much debt Hillary left the party after the presidential election?

Huh.  Why should Bernie worry?  He got his million dollar home at the shore, a nice expensive car, probably a few million in an offshore bank and his wife's machinations will probably just fade away.

The way I heard it (may have even been up thread) is that Hilary is planning on running in 2020.  She expected to win 2016 and planned on two terms ... so she would have been running in 2020 even if she had won 2016 ... The folks at the top of the DNC have noticed that she reeks of death and lost elections and want her gone.  Had she gone quietly they would have let her slip away but she didn't and she blamed a lot of folks that didn't appreciate it ... so Donna Brazile was given the OK to publish this tell all with the expectations that it will end Hilary's hopes for another run ... From the excerpts I've seen it is truly a scorched earth book.
