Proposed standard Posting
« on: December 06, 2017, 02:07:04 PM »
As I would like this forum to be a repository for recipes, I'd like to suggest that posters post the text of the recipe they have found.

Links disappear over time and this forum will be more useful if the actual text of the recipe accompanies the post.

Recall what happened with Photobucket. At least here, we have a better idea of where the text would be stored.
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

The only problem I see is possible copyright issues.

Copyright laws may apply to the way in which a recipe is written, but not the list of ingredients. So I suggest that if we go forward in this way, the poster should not copy/paste the text describing how to cook the food,  absent citation.  Or, rewrite in your own words, because it's the author's words that are protected, not the method described.

This is by far the worst recipe.
Sometimes we carry more weight then we owe.
And sometimes goes on and on and on.

Maybe add a little garlic and hot sauce.  Doesn't that make most savory dishes better?

So....you're saying this sounds like a recipe for disaster?

That is all. *expletive deleted*ck you all, eat *expletive deleted*it, and die in a fire. I have considered writing here a long parting section dedicated to each poster, but I have decided, at length, against it. *expletive deleted*ck you all and Hail Satan.
