Benghazi Was Just Bureaucratic Confusion
« on: February 07, 2018, 06:58:44 PM »
Apparently a new line from the left. It was just some mixed up paperwork, a couple of calls going to voice mail, stuff like that. So don't have a cow, man. It's not like anybody died or anything. Oh wait.....

Well, I'm glad we cleared up that and the IRS scandal in one tweet.

So I'm guessing, that at this point, it doesn't matter.

What difference would it make?

I love the voicemail excuse, given HRC's snarky comment about the 3 am phone call.

There are few things that 'trigger' me.  Benghazi is one.  The state department wouldn't take their calls because that would have meant admitting there was something going on and they knew about it.  One of the people in that office was a figure on the online game EVE Online.  For an in game group of meta-gaming jerks called Goonsquad.  The people in that office were reaching out to anyone they could.  Later reveals, the emails from Clinton's deleted server, luckily on the laptop of a sex offender, showed it wasn't even a political decision, but a personally interested one for the potential impact on a private fundraiser for a personal charity foundation.  I WISH it was incompetence.  It was, and is, a far deeper rot where Americans off representing America were left to twist in the wind for being inconvenient.  And not deniable embarrassing assets, state department officials, our damn ambassador, the embodiment of our country abroad,  left to be murdered and dragged naked through the streets. And we did nothing but watch it on TV and watch our government lie about it.

“Fear of death increases in exact proportion to increase in wealth,” Hemingway once said. Today, many of us have become rich in the currency of cowardice. We have so many things and so few experiences. We are desperate to live as long as possible, not as large as possible. We are so afraid to say goodbye to the world that we never say hello.

The mills of the gods propagandists grind slowly, but exceedingly fine.

With apologies to Sextus Empiricus.

It took them a while to conjure up those "excuses," didn't it?

Me, too.

Ok, so if it was "just a mixup," doesn't the fault for that incompetence fall on the head of the agency anyhow?  I still don't see how Ms. Clinton can squirgle her way out of it.
