Girl kills Emotional Support Hamster after denied boarding on flight

I know we've had a couple discussions on airlines and Emotional Support Animals on here.  I saw this story on another forum and thought I'd share.  It's more for the WTF factor than anything else.  I don't know how this girl came to the decision that the animal she had certified as a medical necessity needed to be flushed down the toilet at an airport.

I'm sure she's genuinely troubled by her actions, but blaming the airline for them is beyond ridiculous.

My prefered emotional support animal,  if we ever figure out how to resurrect the species.
I figure by the time the plane achieves cruising altitude,  I'll have plenty of room to stretch out and relax.

Plus they won't fit down airplane toilets.

There are dog breeds that are nearly as big.  Try that in the meantime unless you want to go for the emotional support black bear.
