I hesitate to ask, and I am certainly not going to Google it, but what is 'fetlife k and p'?

Not google, of course.  Use one of those anonymizing search engines.

Hmmm, let's see.  In the day and age where even smiling a woman wrong can get you accused of sexual harassment, thereby destroying your life (and livelihood), or get you 18 years of child support payments, and/or having to give away half your stuff ??  Yeah, I can see how this generation would prefer porn to the real thing.

OK, I'll take a look. Purely for research purposes, of course.

To be fair, it was much better before the fifty shades crowd showed up and thought merely  showing yer boobies on the internet counted as kinky.

Is it just now a public health crisis? These people never heard of etchings? Just because there is video now ...

Want to get rid of porn, maybe try legalizing prostitution.

Porn is free though, hookers is pricey.

An important point. The easy, 24/7 availability of free porn, to every phone, tablet, laptop, desktop is also the difference between today, and every other era in our history. Doesn't prove there's a crisis, but it's definitely something new.

This popped up in my Business Insider feed:

Ana Bridges, a psychologist at the University of Arkansas, and her team found that 88 percent of scenes from 50 of the top-rented porn movies contained physical aggression against the female performers - such as spanking, slapping and gagging - while 48 percent included verbal abuse - like calling women names such as "bitch" or "slut."

Okay, so the top category listed on Pornhub is "lesbian" and, just scrolling through the main page, I see a lot of solo female performers and girl on girl... So, I'm going to guess that the above statement by Ms. Bridges may be slightly misleading...

These days anyone with a "device" connected to the internet will see porn. So considering that at what age is pornography a tablet/phone appropriate?

Only an idiot wouldn't realize the sheer amount of sexual violence that the massive increase in pornography consumption since the 90's has caused...

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.
