The UK and EU have more rules about raising chickens than the US does.  Probably much cheaper to import the already processed meat than to buy chicken in the UK.

So what happens on the front end, where they're still raising and processing chickens?  E.g., will the surplus (chicken glut) bring down the price of chickens locally... like here in the U.S?
