Does this mean if we ban the guns it won't stop school massacres?

Yes, Virginia, that's what it means. It means that further infringing the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens won't stop people who want to kill other people, it'll just cause them to use bombs instead of guns. Now who could have predicted that?

Worse yet, it means Trump was right when he said we need to harden our schools.

Seems like they are kind of burying the lede with the web page's link title.

Fun fact, I just learned that it's "lede" and not "lead".
