Saran Wrap Knife
« on: April 17, 2018, 07:39:43 PM »
Well, I never thought of making a knife out of Saran wrap.

Though in the time it took, he probably could have just filed down one of the pieces of metal he used as a press and had a steel knife.  =D

Apparently he has also made a knife out of pasta.

Uh huh.

Interesting, but how long will it keep that edge after ALL that work?
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

That is a man that needs a scroll saw. And maybe a belt sander.

Funny, I haven't watched a lot of Japanese "how-to" videos, but those I've watched similar to this one always seem to do it the hard way. I don't know if it's cultural, or if they just don't have any Harbor Freights there.

Somewhere in the UK, a cop sheds a single tear.

Maybe he sells them to prisoners?  They'll only be used once, after all.

But the steel knife wouldn't get past airport security.

That seemed like a lot of work just to make a white plastic knife, especially without serrations. ;)

You can also unroll it, and suffocate your victim, if you prefer.
