For the first use of the new grill: beer can chicken
« on: April 25, 2018, 08:09:55 PM »
To break in the new grill and celebrate the current sunny weather in Seattle, I am preparing a beer can chicken.  I used hard cider inside the chicken stand, put some applewood in a smoker box and am running the grill at about 375 degrees using indirect heat.  I am at about 45 minutes in, and will check the temp at 60 minutes.

Haven't made me a beer butt chicken in quite some time. I need to do one.

Might try that with one of the nuggets after they head to freezer camp.
