Charles Krauthammer
« on: June 08, 2018, 12:29:54 PM »
Charles Krauthammer released a statement to the public this morning about his health.  It's terrible news:

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/interactive/2018/06/08/fox-news-charles-krauthammer-says-goodbye-to-colleagues-friends-and-viewers.html

What a powerful, eloquent, direct letter by a brilliant man!  I'm deeply saddened by this.

I always liked him and always respected him.  I didn't always agree with him, but he often brought a sense of sanity to a conversation,  and sometimes a great wit.

^^^This.  He was intellectually honest and sincere in his opinions, which he only arrived at after intense thought and study of the issues.

I completely agree.  I've read him for decades.

I didn't always agree with his viewpoints, but always respected his research and presentation. We'll be losing a powerful voice in polite and logical political debate.

The hatred and joy coming out of the left before he even passes is disgusting. They would be better off putting those energies to emulating Krauthammer's methods to present their own viewpoints.

Yes.   They announced it at about quarter past the hour and have been doing a retrospective since. :'(
