Shopping for a harmonica
« on: June 11, 2018, 09:41:24 PM »
Can anyone give me some tips on finding a good harmonica? I'm told my father wants "a good one," in the key of A.

Unfortunately, it's a bit late to shop for father's day, so I might be stuck with whatever can be had locally.

This, though finding out what he already has is a good idea too; while reed feel can change a lot between keys in the same model, playing is still more consistent overall when the size, shape and materials match up pretty closely.
