24 posts and I'm the first to say it:

Taxation is Theft.

Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

I"m not seeing how it constitutional to let a state force someone in another state to comply with their tax laws.  What a mess this is going to be.

It can be used in a national reciprocity case along with Obergefell.

The only way this can be changed is through federal legislation.  However, given our political betters insatiable thirst for tax dollars, I don't see any such change happening.
If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

My wife often says to me, "You are evil and must be destroyed." She may be right.

Liberals believe one should never let reason, logic and facts get in the way of a good emotional argument.

I live in NH.  We don't have sales tax, so this ruling won't affect purchasers in NH, but it may affect NH businesses that ship out-of-state.  One of our Senators is bitching about this ruling, which I find hilarious because she is a flaming liberal and is usually in favor of more taxes.

What they need to do is push hard to get a ruling that the tax that applies is the seller's; it makes more sense that way anyway.  If I go to mom's house out out of town and order a pizza, I still have to pay 8.25% tax (6.25 state and 2.0 city) instead of 6.25%, so it certainly appears the sale is considered to happen at Domino's in town.  Why should that be different when the delivery crosses any other political boundary?

That could be entertaining.

I think this is how it ought to be applied.

I have no problem making all my purchases from Delaware, New Hampshire, Montana, and Oregon.
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

And suddenly there's a run on PO boxes and licenses in low tax states, and CA heads back to court.

That would be an interesting disincentive to high taxes similar to people moving to low income tax states.
