I think I speak for all the people of Florida when we thank Texans for stepping up and taking the attention off us this election, but there is such a thing as trying too hard.

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

Today was the first day for early voting.  I heard there were long lines.  I wasn't even going to attempt it today.  I didn't have time anyway.

People were in line 24 hours ahead of the Houston Ted Cruz rally with President Trump.  It was moved to the Toyota Center where the Houston Rockets play because of ticket demand.

Last I saw Cruz was expected to win by 10 points at least.  Maybe it depends on which poll you look at.

I think Texans are ready to get this over with.

You made it to the end?

For all that the Democrats brag about diversity and helping minorities, those videos showed a bunch of white people.  Maybe it was just one location.

If the United States Senate had a position for Choreographer-at-Arms, perhaps Beto might have some reason for being a senator. However, there is no Choreographer-at-Arms position in the Senate, so ...

The first one was just like ok whatever. But that second one really takes the cake.

It's because Ted Cruz hates Hispanics and blacks, and won't even allow them in the state! Just like Greg Abbott kicked out all the differently-abled.

It's always fun to watch d's waste $38 million in out of state money on a losing campaign...

From Wikipedia... which tells me EVERYTHING I need to know to hate this guy.

On the evening of June 22, 2016, O'Rourke participated in the sit-in in the House of Representatives that attempted to force a vote on gun control legislation. When the Republicans ordered C-SPAN to turn off its normal coverage of the chamber, O'Rourke and Representative Scott Peters transmitted images by cell phone to social media for C-SPAN to broadcast.[129]

He supports universal background checks for gun purchases. On March 7, 2018, O'Rourke told Alisyn Camerota of CNN: "We have a great tradition and culture of gun ownership and gun safety for hunting, for sport, for self-defense... I think that can allow Texas to take the lead on a really tough issue, which the country is waiting for leadership and action on." ] He has called for a complete ban on assault rifles.

And they say Gov. Greg Abbott doesn't stand for anything.  He always just stays sitting down.

The ads don't play for me. Do you need a Twitter account for them to work?

It might be your browser at work. Most videos won't play in IE for me at work but will play just fine in Chrome when I switch browsers.

No worky in Chrome or IE. Got it to work in Firefox.

Ugh. Could only stomach about ten seconds of each. I wonder if Men At Work know his campaign has co-opted their intellectual property.
