I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

On a similar thought, I caught a minute or so of the one of the military history shows with the British expert that now dresses up like a woman.  Weird.

We should have compassion for the broken.

I had a coworker who transitioned over a period of a couple years. He was the only person who consistently wore dresses and skirts to work. He had the work done on his face and vocal cords and started hormone treatments. I never asked if he still had the factory plumbing or not. Hadn’t got his boobs yet either. He left us to go be a flight attendant.

He has law enforcement  and emergency services background, lifetime NRA. We got along great. He might have even voted for Trump for all I know.

Even though we got along well, I still tread lightly and followed company policy on gender pronouns and the name change. I didnt ask a lot of questions.

We live in clown world and are surrounded by folks who are delusional.

I'm glad they found an unbiased expert for the source of the story.
