Want a Gun? Submit to a Social Media Search First

There was a time I would laugh at the possibility of something like this passing, but in some states in these times, I'm not so sure anymore.

What constitutes "social media"? I don't have accounts on any of what I consider to be "social media" -- i.e. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or any of those. (Although I discovered over the weekend that there seems to be a Facebook account with my name on it. I'd like to find out who created it and what's in it, because I'm pretty certain I didn't create it, I never look at it (didn't even know it existed), and I have no idea how to access it.

Do forums such as this or The Firing Line constitute "social media"?

APS is social media. Also as per the article, they want to do a one year search history audit. Don't ask me how they'll get that consistently what with VPN, etc. Also will it then be mandatory to forego VPN and to also not clear browser histories, etc. and demand ISPs give up user data? It's a very dangerous idea in a non-totalitarian country.

It actually crosses the line into a totalitarian country.

My browser clears the cookies and history every time I log off? Gosh, I didn't know that. Is that the default? Can I change that somehow?

Yeah, that just clears your browser, not the IPs you visited via your ISP.

(a) Verify, on an annual or more frequent basis, that persons
who acquired pistols or semiautomatic assault rifles pursuant to
this chapter remain eligible to possess a firearm under state and
federal law; and
(b) If such persons are determined to be ineligible for any

(2) The department of licensing, where appropriate, may consult
with individuals from the public and private sector or ask the

Given the lead that has in the polls (2:1 IIRC) we'll have to hope SCOTUS knocks it down since the WA Supreme Court certainly won't, despite the fact that it never should have been on the ballot in the first place, and they couldn't even get that ruling right.

Which then requires everyone to pay for privacy, which we kinda have to do now, and I believe that's wrong. Though I pay for a NordVPN subscription now, for protection on public wireless as much as privacy, I shouldn't have to.

Also if you want the most privacy protection, you pretty much have to use a foreign VPN service, Like Nord, because US VPN providers will give you up in a heartbeat. Also a sad commentary on the land of the free.

If nothing else, the law should be overturned as it applies an arbitrary standard for exercising a right.  Who decides what is appropriate or inappropriate social media content?  What if the person judging this stuff is a crazy leftist who thinks any conservative idea is hate speech?  That doesn't even get to the privacy intrusion.

Hell, what if they go through their online dating history?  That might get interesting for some.

Or turn it around and, since (slippery slope) you can do this for an actual right, apply it to all the stuff progs consider "rights". The outcry would be worse than the day after Trump won.

*expletive deleted*it if they go through my social media on certain, ahem, none Facebook platforms I'm liable to end up on even more government watch lists.

On the bright side, the poor analyst intern assigned to check on my profiles now and again is either going to be severly repulsed or turned on.
