as the Libertarian Party is to Republicans. (Give up? The blank is Democrats)

Looks like the Democrats will be crying about the Green Party once more for a few days:

Green Party candidate got 40,000 votes. The Republican won by 15,000.

Nice to see the Democrats dealing with their own spoilers every now and then.

I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

Paging Nelson Muntz. I am pretty shocked that the leftists couldn't find one candidate nutty enough to unite them. She seemed qualified.

She was well qualified, since she was a Green before getting elected.  I wonder if this was the Greens way of giving her the old middle finger?

Sad it is even close. One one side a combat veteran, the other, code pink whackadoodle who has certainly flirted with that whole aid and comfort thing.
