Warren v. Mattis
« on: January 11, 2019, 06:10:31 AM »
Just watched a video of some hearing in which Senator Warren was quizzing Secretary Mattis.

Elizabeth Warren cannot pronounce the word "February."

That is all.

Well, English is her second language after Cherokee.  Or is it Apache?

Meh.  It's not a "Guam" moment. Not even close.

NOTHING could be close to that. But that particular idiot wasn't being viewed as a potential front-runner for President.

I don't think even Chief Wild Eagle would want to claim her for his tribe . . .

You do know how the tribe got that name, right?

I wonder if she pronounces spaghetti "pisghetti?"

That Hekowe / Helowe joke was current around mid-1950s in the form of the Fugawe Indians. I guess the F-Troop producers wanted to use a clean version.

Punch line:  Lost Indian tribe, the Fugawes, finally makes contact with someone and the Chief introduces themselves as "How. We're the Fugawe."

Lousy joke then, still a lousy joke.

Not-so-trivial trivia.  Larry Storch celebrated his 96th birthday on January 8th.  He served aboard the USS Proteus (AS-19) in WWII.

I do.  I really believe she has no idea where she is going, where she is or how she got there at any given moment.  As long as she gets her cut of the action she could care less.

Oh ... my ... Gawd.
I am surprised her antics were not more widely known.

I believe she was convicted of something later and spent time in prison if not still there.

n December 4, 2017, she was sentenced to five years in prison and ordered to pay restitution.[3] She reported on January 29, 2018 to Coleman Federal Correctional Complex in Sumter County, Florida, near Wildwood, to begin her sentence. She is appealing her conviction, and will continue to collect her Congressional pension until her appeal is concluded.[42]

Good grief!

According to Wikipedia, this creature has a bachelor of science degree from Florida A&M University, a master's degree from Florida A&M University, and an educational specialist degree from the University of Florida. She has also been on the faculty at three different Florida universities.

She never would have graduated from my high school. Probably not even my grammar school.

Public Education.  Ain't is great?
