All the Money is in the Wrong Hands
« on: January 11, 2019, 05:28:27 PM »
They don't even hide it anymore. DeBlasio on 1) confiscating buildings from landlords he doesn't like and making them non-profits and 2) There's plenty of money out there to do all the things he wants, it's just in the wrong hands.

Exactly demonstrating why socialism is evil.

"There’s plenty of money in the world. Plenty of money in this city," Mayor de Blasio said. "It’s just in the wrong hands!"

Also, I'm sick and tired of people like this being called "Robin Hood". A corrupt government took money from citizens. Robin Hood took the money from the corrupt government and gave it back to the citizens. DeBlasio would not be Robin Hood. He would be the guy Robin Hood takes from.

Yes, De Blasio is the Sheriff of Nottingham, or more likely Prince John.
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

I also read something yesterday about this jackass going on a national tour of cities to tell them how great New York is and how they can be just like NYC. Exactly the favorite conversation in pretty much every city/state in the country: someone from somewhere else condescendingly telling them, "We do it this way in X."

Lenin tried that.

Worked great.
Carbon Monoxide, sucking the life out of idiots, 'tards, and fools since man tamed fire.

Oh come on! Stop with the sarcastic negativity! You know there were problems caused by malcontents there. We're going to get it right this time!

72 billion a year in extra taxes vs. 5 thousand billion a year to pay for this program.  We'll have that paid off in no time!

Lenin tried that.

Worked great.

Their failures were due to the people of the USSR not being up to the challenge of implementing the otherwise brilliant plans.

Our American elites have taken that into consideration and believe that the American “can do!” spirit emanating from our magic dirt will bring about the workers paradise.

They’ve factored in the malcontents and are quickly replacing them with new Americans who will usher us into the glorious future!
For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse. Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.

Not really.  Robin Hood also robbed wealthy merchants:
