I saw this video pop up.  Lucky Gunner gives some data on 22 Mag in short barrels and compares its performance to 22 LR.  I was wondering why so many manufacturers make these very short barrrel self defense guns in 22 mag versus 22 LR.  This explains it a bit.

As I said elsewhere, it's a pretty snotty little cartridge, even in a short barrel.  Excellent+ video!

I was very pleased to see the side-by-side velocity and penetration data.
