Historical query: Fox News and Trump
« on: February 13, 2019, 04:23:00 PM »
I have the impression that Fox News was not especially friendly to Trump, before he became the nominee (or at least before he was the front-runner). Someone in meat-space told me I was wrong about this.

I do not have access to Fox News, so I don't really know. Do you?

I gather they are quite friendly to the President now.

From memory, I think most of Fox was indeed laughing at him at the beginning. It wasn't until he was last man standing that they really got behind him. Again, just me from my pea-brained memory.

Meghan Kelly did not like him.
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
