Biden willing to destroy thousands of blue-collar jobs in pursuit of a green economy.
Maybe even hundreds of thousands.
Way to go Joe.
The type of folks who believe in this green economy thing were going to vote for the Dem candidate regardless because they're idealists and have a fantastical (not fantastic) view of what society can become. But the blue-collar workers don't share that. They may very well want a more environmentally cleaner country but not at the expense of their jobs.
They need to feed their families today, pay their rent/mortgage and utilities this month, put savings away this year and so forth.
Biden has just made himself an existential threat to them.
And this doesn't help:
Biden claimed that blue collar workers could transition into higher paying jobs, but did not lay out plan on how he would magically accomplish that if elected.
We were told that displaced people would transition into higher paying jobs because of free-trade. Didn't happen. It's a sham.
I'm sure the BC workers know that it's a sham.
So Biden has threatened and lied to a major voting bloc.
Wow.
Hopefully the BC workers have a long-enough memory for this to matter.
